We’d like to thank Special Olympics Québec for choosing us for their benefit gala, Summa – Ne Ferme Pas Ton Ecran (Summa – Don’t Close Your Screen), presented by Banque Nationale. Over 50 years ago, the Special Olympics movement made a promise to create a place that would help improve quality of life and self-esteem for people living with an intellectual disability. Today, sports are enriching the lives of over 7,200 athletes. Summa is a benefit gala filled with poetry, a hymn to surpassing yourself, a song that celebrates the determination of these athletes. The virtual event was hosted by Mehdi Bousaidan, and was broadcast live from our studio. Over 500 participants talked and networked at virtual tables on our Creativ LIVE platform during the broadcast. The evening raised a record sum of $684,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Québec.
